How early should I book my shoot?

To ensure you get the product you are ordering in time, allow at least 6 weeks before you need it. If you are ordering a digital package only, turnaround time will be 3-4 weeks after the shoot.

Do you provide Hair & Make-Up?

Yes. A professional makeup artist is always provided in the cost. Makeup for photography is very different than what you would wear normally, and we want to bring out the very best look in you.

We will not be doing any hair styling with a regular sitting/shoot. We recommend that the client get their hair styled by their normal salon before the shoot. We will offer a stylist, for an extra charge, if we are doing a stylized glamour shoot. Pricing for this will be on an individual basis.

Do you shoot in other locations?

Absolutely. If you have a special location you would like, just let us know. You will need to make arrangements/reservations if you desire a hotel or lodge. If you would like the shoot done in your home, we prefer to scout the location to check for lighting and setting in advance. Contact us with your ideas and we’ll see how we can make it happen. A small travel fee may be applies if outside the Portland area.

How should I prepare for my shoot?

After you contact us, we will e-mail you some PDF’s detailing what you should expect, how to prepare, pricing list and various other information. When you book your first appointment, we will go over all these documents and answer any further questions.

May I bring a guest?

Yes, with the following considerations:

1. Please do not bring a significant other (unless it is a couples shoot of course).

2. Make sure your guest is fully supportive of the type of shoot you are doing.

3. We do not allow any other photography or cell phones in the shooting area.

What should I expect when I come to the studio for a shoot?

Our studio is in a commercial/industrial complex, we have done quite a lot to make the space as comfortable yet usable as we can. We have about 600 square feet of dedicated shooting space, a private dressing area, a lounging/viewing space, and a private bathroom. When you contact us to book an appointment, we will e-mail you a PDF containing much more detailed information describing the entire shoot process.

Do you photograph men?

Yes. We can arrange a session to suit various men’s styles. Bring us your ideas.

Do you photograph couples?

Absolutely. All adult couples, of all sexual orientations are welcome. We are very accommodating and will work with you to create a photo session that suits your desires. Typically, with a couple, we prefer to shoot in a nice hotel or a private residence, this allows much greater set and pose variability.

Do you provide wardrobe/costumes?

No. Due to the usual intimate nature of boudoir photography, you must provide all of your own outfits. We do have some props available that may be incorporated. This is a great opportunity to really express yourself, and present a perfect excuse to go shopping

What is your re-touching policy?

We believe that you should look like you. We use a professional make-up artist to bring out all of your best features, lighting and camera angels to show off everything you want shown off and minimal computer re-touching. We will remove blemishes, bruises and do some smoothing as a general course. If we are doing a very stylized type shoot more re-touching will be performed.

What happens after the shoot?

Immediately after the shoot you will probably be tired, but very excited to see the results. You will also be all “dolled up”. This is a perfect time to grab that special someone and go out on the town. We will send you 2-3 edited images within a few days, and you will meet with the photographer within two weeks to review your images.

How many images will I get?

When you meet with the photographer after the shoot, you will see approximately 35-40 edited images. How many you receive will be determined at this ordering session.

Do you share any images on the web?

Not without your express written permission. The images you see on our website are all released by the models.

Do you do other “types” of shoots?

Yes. We are open-minded and creative. Bring us your ideas and we’ll collaborate to create the image you want and see them through.
